بتاريخ 27/11/2019 ظهر الصحفي "حسن القباني"، بعد اختفاء قسري، دام 67 يوماً .
واعتقلت قوات الأمن بمحكمة جنايات القاهرة، الصحفي حسن القبانى، يوم 17 سبتمبر، أثناء حضوره جلسة تجديد التدابير الاحترازية ، واقتادته إلي جهة غير معلومة.
وجاء اعتقال القباني بعد 3 أشهر من اعتقال زوجته الصحفية آيه علاء، لاتهامها بنشر أخبار كاذبة على خلفية دفاعها عن زوجها خلال فترة اعتقاله، حيث كان يراعي ابنتيهما "همس وهيا" في ظل اعتقال زوجته.
وكان الصحفي حسن القباني قد اعتقل في 22يناير ٢٠١٥ قبل أن يتم إخلاء سبيله بتدابير احترازية في نوفمبر ٢٠١٧.

تحديث7/3/2021:قررت نيابة أمن الدولة العليا، اليوم الاحد 7 مارس إخلاء سبيل الصحفيين حسن القباني وإسلام الكحلي بتدابير احترازية.

Al-Qabbani's arrest came 3 months after the arrest of his journalist wife, Alaa, for accusing her of spreading false news due to her defense of her husband during his detention, as he was observing their two daughters, "whisper and go" in the shadow of his wife's arrest.
Journalist Hassan al-Qabbani was arrested on January 22, 2015, before being released with precautionary measures in November 2017.
