يذكر أن بلال هو شقيق الشاب أحمد جمال هنداوي، المعتقل بسجن العقرب والمحكوم عليه بالسجن 15 عام ، في قضية النائب العام هشام بركات . وقد تقدمت أسرته ببلاغات للنائب العام ، وللمحامي العام لنيابات جنوب الشرقية ، ولم يحرك أيا منهما ساكناً.
