‏ألقت السلطات المصرية  في ساعة مبكرة من صباح يوم 11يوليو 2021 القبض على المؤرخة والباحثة عالية مسلم من مطار القاهرة فور وصولها من برلين، ألمانيا رفقة زوجها وأولادها وقامت بترحيلها الى نيابة أمن الدولة.

تحديث 12/7/2021: قررت نيابة أمن الدولة العليا إخلاء سبيل الباحثة عالية مسلم بكفالة 10000جنيه علي ذمة التحقيقات.

In the early hours of the morning of July 11, 2021, the Egyptian authorities arrested the historian and researcher Alia Muslim from Cairo Airport upon her arrival from Berlin, Germany, accompanied by her husband and children, and deported her to the State Security Prosecution.

11 Temmuz 2021 sabahı erken saatlerde Mısırlı yetkililer, Kahire Havalimanı'ndan tarihçi ve araştırmacı Alia Muslim'i, eşi ve çocukları ile birlikte Almanya'nın Berlin kentinden gelirken tutuklayarak Devlet Güvenlik Savcılığına sınır dışı etti.
