نيابة أمن الدولة العليا تقرر حبس عمر مجدى شندى - نجل مجدى شندى رئيس تحرير جريدة المشهد - 15 يوما على ذمة التحقيق في القضية 1331 لسنة 2019 حصر أمن دولة عليا بتهمة نشر أخبار كاذبة واستخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي للإساءة لسمعة الدولة.

يذكر أن قوات الامن داهمت المنزل بحثاً عن مجدي شندي - لنشره أخبار عن مقاطع فيديو  للفنان محمد علي-  وأعتقلت نجله " كرهينة " لإجباره علي تسليم نفسه.
