بتاريخ 22 ابريل القت قوات أمن القاهرة القبض علي المحامي/ عبد الرشيد أحمد - 53 عام - في تمام الساعه الخامسة عصرا بعد خروجه من مكتبه مباشره بالسيده زينب وذلك تنفيذا لقرار النيابه بضبطه وإحضاره بناء علي بلاغ مقدم من وزير التربيه والتعليم ضد الاستاذ عبد الرشيد احمد في البلاغ رقم 260 عرائض نيابه شرق القاهرة وتم التحقيق معه تحت اشراف المحامي العام لنيابات شرق القاهرة وقد أصدر المستشار المحام العام بحبسه أربعة أيام على ذمة التحقيقات.
كان عبد الرشيد قد وجه إنذار رسمي لوزير التربية والتعليم بإلغاء نظام الأبحاث ، وأعلن عبر صفحته علي الفيسبوك أن هذا الانذار تمهيداً لاقامة دعوي قضائية ضد الوزير بصفته، ما اعتبره الاخير سباً وقذفاً ونشراً لاخبار كاذبة .
