قامت قوات امن الاسكندرية بأعتقال عمرو عبدالباسط عبد الجليل،  يوم 30 مايو2020 ، من الأتوبيس الخاص بشركة حديد عز الدخيلة،  أثناء ذهابه إلى عمله ، واقتادته إلى جهة غير معلومة،  بعد مطالبته هو وعمال آخرين بأرباحهم بالشركة ،عن عام 2019 بعد أن رفضت الشركة صرفها  للعاملين.

تحديث 17/6/2020 : قررت نيابة الدخيلة بمحافظة الإسكندرية حبس عمروعبدالباسط عبد الجليل 15يومًا على ذمة التحقيقات بتهمة الانضمام إلى جماعة أسست على خلاف أحكام القانون والدستور والإعداد والتجهيز لتنفيذ عمليات إرهابية وحيازة وإحراز منشورات بعد 16 يومًا من الإخفاء القسري.
