اعلن المتحدث الرسمى للقوات المسلحة التصفية الجسدية ل8 مواطنين بالظهير الصحراوى الغربى ، وزعم انهم شديدى الخطورة ، دون ان يذكر اسم او بيانات اى منهم ، وكذبت الصور التى نشرها على حسابه مزاعمه بان قتلهم خارج نطاق القانون كان عن طريق القصف الجوى ، حيث ان الصور المنشورة بها اثار طلقات باماكن متفرقة من الجثامين ، وغير ذلك من الدلائل التى تؤكد الكذب والتلفيق ، وجاء نص البيان :

القوات المسلحة بالتعاون مع الشرطة المدنية تتمكن من القضاء على خلية إرهابية بالظهير الصحراوى غرب البلاد ...

إستمراراً لجهود القوات المسلحة والشرطة المدنية فى مكافحة العناصر الإرهابية والإجرامية على كافة الإتجاهات الإستراتيجية ، وبناءً على معلومات إستخباراتية مؤكدة بالتعاون مع قطاع الأمن الوطنى تفيد بتواجد خلية إرهابية بالظهير الصحراوى غرب البلاد تخطط لتنفيذ أعمال عدائية تستهدف زعزعة أمن وإستقرار البلاد .

وبعد تحديد أماكن تواجدهم بكل دقة ، قامت القوات الجوية بإستهداف البؤرة الإرهابية مع قيام قوات مكافحة الإرهاب بتمشيط المنطقة ، وقد أسفرت العملية عن القضاء على (8) فرد إرهابى شديد الخطورة وضبط آخرين وتدمير عدد (3) عربة دفع رباعى ووكر بداخله كميات من الأسلحة والذخائر ومواد الإعاشة .

هذا وتواصل القوات المسلحة والشرطة المدنية جهودههما فى ملاحقة العناصر الإرهابية والإجرامية لحفظ أمن وإستقرار البلاد .
