رفضت محكمة النقض الطعن المقدم من المتهم "عماد عبد الباقى" على حكم سجنه بقضية "أحداث عنف حلوان" وقررت تأييد الحكم الصادر ضده من محكمة الجنايات بالسجن المشدد 10 سنوات.كانت محكمة جنايات القاهرة المنعقدة بمعهد أمناء الشرطة بطرة، قضت بمعاقبة المتهم عماد عبدالباقي، بالسجن المشدد 10 سنوات وبراءة المتهمين الثاني والثالث بتهمة التظاهر بمنطقة حلوان في مارس عام 2015.ووجهت النيابة العامة للمتهم عدة تهم منها حيازة أسلحة نارية، والتظاهر بدون تصريح، والدعوة لتعطيل العمل بالدستور، ومقاومة السلطات، وترويع المواطنين.

The Court of Cassation rejected the appeal filed by the accused "Imad Abdel Baqi" on the sentence of his imprisonment in the case of the "incidents of violence Helwan" and decided to support the sentence issued by the Criminal Court to 10 years imprisonment. The Cairo Criminal Court held in the Institute of Police Secretaries, 10 years and the acquittal of the second and third accused on charges of demonstrating in the Helwan area in March 2015. The prosecution charged the accused with several charges, including possession of firearms, demonstrating without permission, and calling for the disruption of the constitution, the resistance of the authorities and intimidation of citizens.

Yargıtay, sanık "Imad Abdel Baqi" tarafından "Şiddetli Olaylar Helwan" davasındaki hapis cezası nedeniyle yapılan temyiz başvurusunu reddetti ve Ceza Mahkemesi tarafından verilen 10 yıl hapis cezasına 10 yıl hapis cezasına destek vermeye karar verdi. 10 yıl sonra, ikinci ve üçüncü kişilerin beraatı, Mart 2015'te Helwan bölgesinde gösteri yapmakla suçlandı. Savcılık, suçlananlara ateşli silah bulundurmak, izinsiz göstermek ve anayasaların bozulmasını, yetkililerin direnişini ve vatandaşların korkutulmasını istemek gibi çeşitli suçlamalar ile suçlandı.
